Phantom Deepens Perpetual Contracts Business by Hiring Ventuals Team

On July 1, CoinFeed reported, citing CoinDesk, that crypto wallet Phantom announced it has hired Alvin Hsia, Emily Hsia, and Aris Samad, the team behind the Ventuals project that launched perpetual futures markets for OpenAI and Anthropic on Hyperliquid. The trio will join Phantom's trading and data team. Ventuals earlier this month announced a gradual shutdown and move to another project within the Hyperliquid ecosystem, ending one of the exchange's most watched on-chain private company valuation trading experiments.
