Securitize Becomes the First Company to Simultaneously List Stocks on NYSE and On-Chain

CoinFeed reported on July 3, according to The Block, that tokenization company Securitize (SECZ) began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, opening at $12.45, reaching a high of $13.70, and closing at $12.30. Securitize also launched tokenized versions of its full SECZ shares on Solana and Avalanche, enabling broader global market access and 24/7 trading. Securitize President Brett Redfearn stated that the company is in substantive discussions with the capital markets divisions of major investment banks like JPMorgan regarding the tokenization of IPO allocations, expecting to see relevant implementations within the next three to six months or a year.
