ENS DAO Closes Public Goods Working Group After Four and a Half Years

CoinFeed reported on July 3, according to The Defiant, the ENS DAO Public Goods Working Group officially closed after four and a half years of operation. Working group lead Simona Pop announced the news on X platform. The working group's sixth and final funding round provided 450,000 USDC and 72.5 ETH, worth approximately $123,000, to Ethereum infrastructure projects such as Vyper, Argot Collective, and Remix Labs. Among them, strategic funding totaled 375,000 USDC, co-funded with the Ethereum Foundation at a ratio of approximately 1:1.2. Pop stated that ENS has one of the largest treasuries in the crypto space, and closing the working group means missing the opportunity to become what Vitalik Buterin calls 'eco heroes'.
