CoinFeed July 3 news, according to Decrypt report, Ukraine has for the first time brought seized crypto assets under state management. The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine stated in a Telegram announcement that over 8.3 million USDT has been transferred to a wallet controlled by the National Agency for Asset Recovery and Management. The USDT came from a suspected member of an international hacker group that launched cyberattacks against targets in Europe and the United States, stealing confidential data and extorting ransoms, causing an estimated over $100 million in losses. Four suspects, including the organizer, have been detained, and a total of over $11.1 million in assets have been seized, including real estate, vehicles, $1 million in cash, and crypto assets. Ukraine legalized virtual assets in 2022 and is advancing tax and regulatory bills to align with EU standards.
