Bloomberg Analyst: June ETF Market Posts Crazy Data, with Both Inflows and New Product Launches Hitting Records
CoinFeed July 5 news, Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas published an analysis stating that the ETF market in June exhibited a 'JUNE-SANITY' (June madness) level of performance, with multiple indicators approaching or setting historical records. Data shows that monthly ETF net inflows reached $191 billion, the second highest monthly level on record, averaging about $9 billion per day, covering about 2,700 different funds. Meanwhile, the number of new ETF product launches in June reached 214, about 10 per day, significantly breaking the historical record. Additionally, monthly ETF trading volume reached $7 trillion, the second highest level on record. Eric Balchunas concluded that this series of data reflects an all-out explosion in the ETF market in terms of capital inflows, new product launches, and trading activity.
