EthLabs: Advancing Recruitment, Financing, and zk-Based Asynchronous Cross-Chain Interoperability

CoinFeed reported on July 6 that Ethereum ecosystem research organization EthLabs announced that Ethlabs has entered its second week of launch and is advancing team recruitment and financing. The team plans to expand to about 10 people in the near term and about 20 in the medium term, having received over 300 applications. In terms of financing, they have received initial support from Bitmine, Sharplink, and Joseph Lubin, and are seeking 1 to 2 additional anchor funders. Technically, Ethlabs is accelerating the development of zk-based asynchronous cross-chain interoperability, believing that a more secure cross-chain bridge will give issuers confidence in widely distributing assets across the network, while also focusing on the improvement of Fast Confirmation Rule on L1 to L2 link latency.
