ENS DAO Plans to Delegate 5 Million ENS to Multi-Stakeholders to Reshape Governance Structure

CoinFeed July 6 news, according to the ENS DAO governance forum, ENS community member AvsA proposed a draft suggesting that approximately 5,000,000 ENS held by the DAO be distributed to various governance-related parties through a multi-delegate contract to alleviate the current issue of voting power being highly concentrated in a few hands. The plan proposes to allocate tokens from the DAO treasury, select candidates from stakeholders such as users, integrators (wallets, exchanges, applications), developers, traditional domain service providers, and governance communities based on preset criteria, and delegate approximately 1 million ENS to each category on an equal basis. The delegates only receive voting rights, with no authority to dispose of tokens, and if they do not participate in voting for six consecutive months, the delegated tokens will be reclaimed and reallocated.
