HKEX: Average daily turnover in the first half of 2026 increased 18% year-on-year

CoinFeed July 7 news, according to Cailian Press, HKEX announced that the average daily turnover in the first half of 2026 was HK$283 billion, up 18% from HK$240.2 billion in the same period last year; the average daily turnover of Exchange Traded Funds was HK$39.6 billion, up 17% from HK$33.8 billion in the same period last year; the average daily turnover of leveraged and inverse products was HK$8.8 billion, up 110% from HK$4.2 billion in the same period last year. The average daily turnover in June 2026 was HK$319.1 billion, up 9% from HK$292.9 billion in the previous month and up 39% from HK$230.2 billion in the same period last year.
