Ripple becomes Kansas Jayhawks sponsor, XRP logo to appear on jerseys

CoinFeed July 8 news, according to The Block report, Ripple has reached a sponsorship cooperation with the University of Kansas, XRP will appear as a logo on the Kansas Jayhawks team jerseys. This is the first time cryptocurrency appears on a top U.S. college sports team jersey. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse is a University of Kansas alumnus. In addition to the jersey sponsorship, Ripple will also fund financial and technology education programs for student-athletes and expand its talent pipeline for providing tech industry employment opportunities to Kansas graduates. Garlinghouse said that after the conclusion of the lawsuit with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), now is the time to re-emphasize XRP technology and use cases.
