DeFi Dashboard Zapper Announces Shutdown on August 3
CoinFeed July 9 news, according to The Block, DeFi dashboard and portfolio tracker Zapper will completely shut down on August 3, including the main website, mobile app, and API. CEO Seb Audet posted on X platform, saying that after evaluating various options and exploring to the best of their ability, the team realized an orderly shutdown is the best choice. Zapper was founded in 2019, starting as a DeFi portfolio tracker, peaking at 2 million monthly active users and processing over $13 billion in transaction volume, and completed a $15 million Series A funding round led by Framework Ventures in May 2021. Zapper once launched the Zap feature to simplify complex DeFi strategy deployment, and later added Web3 social tools such as DEX aggregation, NFT support, and Farcaster client.
