Odyssey info-stealing Trojan attacks macOS users, stealing wallets and system sensitive information

CoinFeed July 9 news, according to Moonlock Lab monitoring, the macOS platform Odyssey info-stealing Trojan has surged recently, affecting over 100 countries. This variant can steal browser passwords, cookies, and autofill data from Chrome, Brave, Edge, etc., steal wallet files from more than 16 crypto applications including Electrum, Exodus, Ledger Live, and about 300 crypto extension IDs, obtain SSH keys, cloud service configurations, Keychain database, Telegram and Discord data, and install a background service that runs at startup on the system, replacing applications like Ledger, Trezor, and Exodus with trojanized versions that can steal assets. The C2 server address has been publicly disclosed.
