Bitwise Adds HYPE to Crypto Index Fund BITW

CoinFeed July 9 news, according to Bitwise announcement, Bitwise 10 Crypto Index ETF (BITW) has included Hyperliquid token HYPE as a constituent, current weight approximately 0.95%. Bitwise stated that Hyperliquid achieved approximately $1.34 trillion in trading volume and $320 million in revenue in the first half of 2026, HYPE year-to-date increase approximately 165%, by market cap already the ninth largest crypto asset globally. Bitwise also cautioned that BITW is not a fund registered under the U.S. Investment Company Act of 1940, the product is highly volatile and may result in investors losing their entire principal, and holdings do not equate to direct ownership of the underlying crypto assets.
