Brazilian Stock Exchange B3 Launches BTC, ETH, SOL Futures Options

CoinFeed July 9 news, Brazilian Stock Exchange B3 announced that from July 6, 2026, it will launch Brazilian Real-denominated call/put options on Bitcoin futures, as well as call/put options on Ethereum and Solana futures, with underlying being cryptocurrency futures contracts listed on B3, not spot crypto assets, and not involving custody, transfer or management of tokens. The new options are all European-style, exercisable only on expiry date; after exercise, the buyer and seller establish long/short positions on the respective first open interest expiry contract of Bitcoin, Ethereum or Solana futures, and fulfill margin and cash settlement obligations as per contract.
