CoinFeed July 10 news, according to CoinDesk, the New Hampshire Executive Council voted 3-2 to reject the $100 million state bitcoin bond project, terminating what was considered the first state government-backed bitcoin-guaranteed bond initiative. The bond was issued by the New Hampshire Business Finance Authority, backed by Bitcoin miner and data center company CleanSpark, and had received a Ba2 rating from Moody's months earlier. State House Majority Leader Keith Ammon called it an "extremely short-sighted decision," and noted that with Executive Council members in an election year, just one vote could reverse the outcome, "we won't give up." New Hampshire last year pioneered a crypto reserve, ahead of yet-to-be-completed federal efforts.
