Zcash Ironwood upgrade expected to activate at 8 PM on July 28

CoinFeed reported on July 10 that Zcash core developer Sean Bowe stated on X platform that the mainnet activation block height for Zcash Ironwood has been determined and marked. All major organizations have committed to activate the NU6.3 upgrade at block height 3,428,143, expected at 8 PM Beijing time on July 28. According to previous reports, this upgrade originates from a previous vulnerability in the Orchard pool — the vulnerability could have allowed an attacker to mint unlimited counterfeit ZEC, and due to the privacy nature of the Orchard pool, the team could not determine whether counterfeit ZEC was minted before the vulnerability was patched.
