AI Writing Startup Marker Raises $13 Million in Seed Funding

CoinFeed July 10 news, the London-based AI writing startup co-founded by a former DeepMind creative lead came out of stealth and announced the completion of a $13 million seed round. The company is called Marker, and the round was led by Index Ventures with participation from LocalGlobe. Angel investors participating include: Writely co-founder Steve Newman, Slack co-founder Cal Henderson, and Thomas Wolf of Hugging Face. According to introductions, Marker's early beta users have already used the platform to write blog posts, Substack newsletters, business documents, memos, and novels among other content.
