A Russian man was kidnapped in Bali, held captive for 30 hours and forced to hand over his cryptocurrency account

The man, while riding a motorcycle after work, was intercepted by a black Nissan Serena, and two masked perpetrators handcuffed him with plastic handcuffs, covered his head, and took him to a two-story house. The man was held captive for about 30 hours, during which he was subjected to violence such as punches and kicks. The perpetrators forced him to hand over his cryptocurrency account password, also stole his mobile phone, and used the villa keys taken from his motorcycle to enter his residence, taking a second phone to further gain access to the account. Around 4 a.m. on July 4, the man was dumped near Udayana University Hospital in Jimbaran and received treatment.
